| We bought this coupe in 2002 from Jim Austin in
South Carolina. My dad commutes to work in it from his home at Pecan Plantation, TX (0TX1) to Granbury, TX (KGDJ) where he runs Sky-Tec, maker of light-weight starters. Since then, some improvements: usual mods to meet AD - new interior, transponder and radio and of course, a Sky-Tec starter w/key-start modification. On the cover of Trade-A-Plane, First November Issue, 2003. Of the 15 or so types of airplanes my family has owned, this is by far one of the most fun and best flying airplanes.
