Bought on faith in seller 8/04 (just after Sport Pilot became formalized - faith in seller was justified); remanded to his recommended mechanic to make project into plane, which Ed Simpson of Camp Lake, Wisconsin, Airport (49C) did with a few nasty errors & omissions. Even with the leaking cowl tank, I successfully flew it solo from S'Eastern Wis. to Quonset Point, RI, May 3-5, 2005. Now (summer '05) I need to finish its transition into a wonderful little aircraft, starting with putting in a good cowl tank. The cross country was wonderful!!! May I someday have another experience that fine. - Jim Brennan, Peace Dale, RI

Bought in '04 from a gentleman in Wisconsin who remanded it to a local mechanic he recommended as an Ercoupe expert. It was converted from project to airplane. I picked it up May '05 and flew same back to Rhode Island. What a yuk!!!! Haven't had such a good time... since I soloed? Currently based at Quonset. Jim Brennan, Peace Dale, RI

Dear Sir (Madam),

I understand that you are maintaining this site as a hobby (THANK YOU!!! - It's great!!!). I submitted my "new" Ercoupe previously (I've owned it for nearly a year but only took possession in May '05 and I am still fixing things my "mechanic" had 'all set' for me ) - the attachment is a view on my flight (a stop in Tiffin, Ohio) from acquiring it in Wisconsin to Rhode Island, my present home (I grew up in Wis.). I submitted it weeks ago and understand that you are doing this site in off time. If you knew all my trials in acquiring N57992 and getting it here, you perhaps might me more motivated to add it to the collection. Whatever... if I can some day be added to your collection, I would be flattered. Of course, as I get the aircraft arranged more in tune with my liking, new photographs will follow, but I would of course be delighted to be included in the current list.

Thanking you,

Jim Brennan
