This is now my 1968 Aircoupe. My father started rebuilding it in March 2004, in southern Oregon. He became sick and passed away later that year, and that is when I inherited it. Many people helped in completing the project until it finally was done in May 2005. In June of that year I flew it back through the Rocky Mountain to Lake Elmo, MN (21D). It was fun to fly, and I wish my father could have been the one at the controls. I know he was there in spirit. The other plane is a neighbors reproduction Fokker located back in Oregon. |
